Torginol manufactures epoxy, but not for resinous flooring systems. What?

Torginol, Inc. was founded by an epoxy chemist who developed epoxy formulations for a variety of specialty applications, including floors, metal parts and other unique markets. Despite the strategic discontinuation of our epoxy floor coating product line at the turn of century, Torginol continues to manufacture a long-time military specification epoxy formulation that is used for coating metal parts on defense equipment. |

Is Torginol, Inc. the same company as Torginol of America, Inc.?

No. Torginol, Inc., originally Peterson Chemical Corporation, was founded in 1969 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Peterson Chemical purchased some of the assets and the Torginol trademark from Torginol of America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Torginol Industries, in the early 1970's. Prior to it's divestiture, Torginol of America, Inc. was established in 1956 and held a large-scale distribution network, supplying dealers amd contractors with seamless resin-based flooring systems throughout the United States. |
