- What are Moisture Cure Urethanes?
  Moisture Cure Urethanes (MCUs) are single-component solvent-based polyurethanes that cure by absorbing moisture vapor from the air, which causes them to dry and harden. These premium ingredient products are meant for the extremist high traffic wood flooring enviroments, because they are more durable and moisture resistant than all other wood floor finishes. MCUs are available in aliphatic (non-yellowing) and aromatic (ambering) types, which are available in gloss and satin finish sheens. Due to their unique chemical composition, MCUs are relatively high in VOCs and are recommended to be used wearing a NIOSH approved respirator at all times.

  LV-AR42 Torglaze is an oil-free, low VOC, single component, high gloss, aromatic moisture cure polyurethane that provides a tough, hard finish for hardwood floors.
