From quality control and compliance certification to ASTM testing and product innovation, research and development is at the core of our commitment to being a leader in the respective markets we serve. By investing valuable time and resources into research and development, TORGINOL® is committed to our mission of improving the quality of life by creating innovative and sustainable materials that enhance the standard of living environments.
At TORGINOL®, each batch we manufacture is carefully examined by our lab technicians to ensure all quality parameters are tested in accordance with our specification standards. However, our commitment to quality does not end here. Because the vast majority of our orders are uniquely customized on demand, each batch goes through a final quality inspection process before it is approved for shipping.
At TORGINOL®, color accuracy and consistency plays a significant role in everything we do. Thus, we have developed a sophisticated system to manage color by utilizing advanced spectrophotometer technology to ensure that all colors are within a delta ( ∆ ) value of (0.5) or less from each specification standard. Our commitment to color requires each lab technician to pass the Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue Test with a score of 10 or less, which recognizes a level of excellent color discrimination.
At TORGINOL®, our products are incorporated into a wide range of resinous coating technologies, including both water and solvent based systems, methyl methacrylates (MMA), epoxies, polyurethanes, polyureas, polyaspartics, UV curables and moisture cure urethanes. Thus, we are constantly testing our products to ensure compatibility with the latest coating technologies. To date, there are no known compatibility issues with our products and any industry standard coating technologies.
At TORGINOL®, our customers depend on the consistent standardized quality of all our products. To insure quality, we have invested significant resources in equipment and procedures to conduct standardized tests established by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). A few ASTM tests we commonly conduct, include: ASTM G155 to evaluate the effects of sunlight exposure on the color stability of our products, ASTM E1866 to measure the color accuracy of a match to the standard, and ASTM C136 to analyze size distribution.
At TORGINOL®, we are constantly mindful of our mission to improve the quality of life through the design and engineering of innovative and sustainable materials that enhance the standards of living environments. From engineering production efficiencies and developing customer specific formulations to developing original color styles and pioneering application techniques, our talented associates are continuously testing novel ideas to ensure our customers long-term sustainability.
